There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional – integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.
That said, in my experience as a Flagstaff real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.
This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.
I have been selling real estate, homes, subdivisions and commercial properties in Northern Arizona since 1987, and I can honestly say that I truly love what I do. The key to being successful in any business is to have fun and enjoy your job. I enjoy working in real estate, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. One of the Core Values of Dallas Real Estate is “Have fun, be fun, and keep it light,” and this is absolutely how I conduct my business. It’s difficult to be imaginative or entrepreneurial with too much structure or formality, and no one wants to work with someone who is not fun to be around.
My wife Sue and I moved to Flagstaff back in 1987, and the quality of life here is truly second to none. The exceptional scenery and outdoor activities that Flagstaff has to offer are what originally attracted us here, and we still enjoy hiking in the Ponderosa forests along some of the most beautiful back woods trails in the West. . .or even just strolling through town with Oscar and Sheba, our two Jack Russell Terriers who are as energetic and playful as they are spoiled.
One of our favorite areas to explore are the wooded banks surrounding Lake Mary, which is a superb place to observe the many species of wildlife and big game animals that call Northern Arizona home. My wife and I spend many evenings watching the elk gather and carouse around the picturesque lake. The best time of year for viewing is from June to September, and I highly suggest you bring your camera and binoculars.
The Flagstaff Lifestyle offers a variety of activities throughout the year, from cycling, golf, and hiking in the summer and fall months, to superb skiing at the Arizona Snow Bowl through the winter. Flagstaff also offers a rich cultural experience with theater and symphony performances throughout the year, and excellent museums where you can explore the fascinating history of the Native Americans who have lived here for thousands of years, and of course the early days of Flagstaff itself when it was a frontier town borne of the railroad and nurtured by the early lumber mills. Flagstaff is also a wonderful community in which to raise children with its superb schools and friendly neighborhoods.
As a Flagstaff realtor I would like to welcome you to our wonderful community, and offer you my services, experience and knowledge in the Flagstaff real estate market to help you find that perfect home, vacation cottage, or commercial investment opportunity you’ve been looking for.
